After School Clubs
Here at Croft Primary School we offer a wide range of after school sports provision. Sports include football, handball, athletics, basketball, netball.
After school clubs give our pupils extra opportunities to participate in a wide range of sports, as well as enabling them to work towards their 60 minutes active each day. Each half term, we aim to deliver an after-school club for both KS1 and KS2. Clubs are delivered by expert coaches from Next Level Sports and are charged at £1 per session. Sessions are payable through Parent Pay.
Choir
Mr Hinchley also runs Choir Club, which is every Friday after school from 3:30pm - 4:00pm. Choir Club is free of charge and open to all key stage 2 children.
Being part of the choir gives children the opportunities to learn a range of songs and gain performance experience. Throughout the year the choir take part in performances both in and outside of school.
Choir Events
On Thursday 23rd November, our KS2 choir wowed Sutton-in-Ashfield during their performance at the Christmas lights switch on. There were over 50 children on the stage who sang to great applause and cheers.
The children sang Meli Kalikimaka (complete with sign language), Show Them You Care ('Cos It's Christmas) and then finished we a special Croft version of We Wish You A Merry Christmas.
This is the first of many outings for our choir this Christmastime and it was a great start to our festive season.
