INTENT
At Croft, the intention of our MFL curriculum is to develop an interest for learning other languages.
We aim to learning the French language and the understanding its culture in an enjoyable and stimulating ways.
The core language taught at Croft Primary School is French.
Our purpose is to embed the essential skills of listening, reading, speaking and writing.
We aim to build the children’s ‘culture capital’ so that they are aware of similarities and differences between cultures.
We hope to lay the foundations for future language learning this will help the children become more confident in using their knowledge of French to form simple sentences and responses.
